Bedroom Layout & Flow Ideas
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I already have a preliminary set of architectural plans for my upcoming residential renovation and addition, but the bedroom addition still feels unresolved. I’d like a fresh set of eyes to rethink the size, placement, and flow of each bedroom—how the master suite links to its bath and walk-in closet, location of laundry room, and any other details you think to amend.
Id like a little large master bedroom, and also maybe place the laundry room and bathroom near each other for plumbing install convenience. Also, the closet and furnace room in the bedroom #3 are not necessary, just a regular bedroom closed suffices.
I also would like fresh ideas on the first floor renovation.
What I’m looking for from you:
• A revised plan (PDF/DWG or clearly annotated sketch) that shows adjusted bedroom footprints, wall shifts, and clear circulation lines.
• Brief notes explaining why each change improves function—especially regarding access to the master bath and closet.
• Any quick massing or 3-D views are welcome if they help illustrate the experience, though not mandatory.
I’ll supply the current plans PDF the moment we start. Accuracy isn’t the hurdle; creative spatial problem-solving is. If you’re comfortable shuffling interior partitions, balancing room proportions, and making the master suite flow naturally, I’d love to review your concepts.
