UG NX Automotive Seat Design -- 2

Job ID: 40311212

Budget: ₹400 – ₹750 INR

I am working on a new automotive seat and I want to push the concept all the way to production-ready CAD inside UG NX. The priorities are clear: first, the seat must feel right to the occupant, so the ergonomic surface development needs to be spot-on; second, the structure has to meet crash and durability targets; and third, every adjustability feature—recline, height, fore-aft, lumbar—has to function smoothly while staying within the package envelope.

You will start from my current digital model and iterate directly in NX, refining geometry, building robust parametric features, and organising the assembly so downstream teams can slot in foam, trim, and kinematic hardware without a fight. I’ll supply vehicle hard-points, H-point data, target weight, and load cases. You’ll deliver:

• Fully parametric UG NX part and assembly files
• Drafting views and basic GD&T for the frame, tracks, and hinge mechanisms
• A neutral-format export (STEP) for supplier RFQs
• Short design report highlighting ergonomic sections, material gauges, and adjustment ranges

If you like to validate your work with built-in NX Simulation or you prefer to hand off an FEA-ready model, say so—either approach works as long as the structure can be checked to 3-sigma loads. Weekly progress files and a quick call each Friday will keep the project moving.
