Automated Resin Filtration System for 3D Printer

Job ID: 38201816

Budget: €3,000 – €5,000 EUR

I'm in need of a 3D model for an automatic filter system designed for my wash station. The wash station, which has a capacity around 9 liters, is where I clean resin from my Formlabs 3D printer. The current manual filtration process involves using a FFP2 mask and a funnel, which is not only time-consuming but also prone to human error.

Key Requirements:
- The system should automatically filter out resin from the isopropyl solution that's used for cleaning.
- The system should be able to handle the approximately 9 liters capacity of the wash station.
- The filtration system should utilize a filter medium akin to a FFP2 mask or something similar.

Ideal Skill Set:
- Experience in designing and modeling 3D parts, preferably with knowledge of 3D printing systems.
- Strong understanding of fluid dynamics and filtration systems.
- Proficiency in designing mechanisms for automation.
- Experience with materials science or relevant knowledge for filter design.

The goal is to have a reliable, automated solution that ensures proper resin filtration without the need for manual intervention. The selected freelancer will be responsible for the conceptual design, modeling, and recommendations for material selection for this system.
