AutoCAD Draftsman / Architect Required – Working Drawings from 2D & 3D for Residential and Commercial Projects

We are looking for an experienced AutoCAD Draftsman or Architect to develop detailed working drawings from approved 2D drawings and 3D views for residential and commercial buildings. The scope involves converting concept and approval drawings into execution-ready drawings suitable for site construction and coordination. The selected freelancer will be responsible for preparing complete architectural working drawings including floor plans with dimensions and annotations, section drawings, elevation drawings based on 2D and 3D inputs, door and window details, staircase details, and terrace or roof layouts. The work also includes preparing detailed drawings such as wall sections, construction details, toilet and kitchen layouts where applicable, flooring and finishing layouts, and façade elements like parapets and sunshades. The freelancer must be able to interpret 3D views accurately and ensure consistency between plans, elevations, and sections. All drawings must follow proper CAD standards including correct layer management, clean and organized structure, standard symbols, hatching, annotations, and scaled layouts with title blocks.
The deliverables include a complete set of working drawings in DWG and PDF formats, with well-structured and execution-ready drawings suitable for contractors. The candidate must have strong experience in AutoCAD drafting, prior experience in residential and commercial projects, and a clear understanding of construction detailing. The ability to convert 3D views into accurate working drawings and attention to detail is essential. An architectural background is preferred, and experience in BIM or Revit will be an added advantage. This is a freelance opportunity with potential for ongoing work based on performance. The timeline and budget will be discussed based on project scope.
