AromaVault: High-End Perfume Storage Design

Project Overview: We are looking for a skilled product designer and developer to create AromaVault – a luxury, temperature-controlled storage solution for perfumes that protects against sunlight and UV-light, while offering a sleek and stylish design for both home and commercial use. This project involves designing an insulated cabinet that regulates temperature and humidity, while keeping fragrances safe from external elements. Also willing to work with someone that can only work with the concept besides the technological aspect.
The ideal candidate will have experience in high-end product design, material selection, cooling systems, and IoT integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
Design a luxurious, insulated cabinet that maintains a stable internal temperature between 60-70°F (14-21°C).
Incorporate aesthetic elements such as wood, leather, or metal accents for a high-end, stylish look.
Design push-to-open doors with a magnetic, soft-close mechanism for quiet, air-tight closure.
Create a secure locking mechanism for high-end or collectible perfumes.
Materials & Construction:
Use UV-protective or tinted glass to block harmful rays, with low heat LED lighting to illuminate the interior.
Incorporate materials like velvet or other soft textures for a luxurious internal feel.
Design shelving with flexible sizing for 50ml, 100ml, and 150ml bottles and pull-out drawer options for ease of use.
Ensure the cabinet is compact enough to fit in a bathroom cupboard or drawer while maintaining sufficient storage space.
But also to stand free and decorate your livingroom or bedroom
Temperature and Humidity Control:
Integrate a thermoelectric cooling system to regulate temperature and prevent condensation.
Incorporate humidity control features to keep humidity levels between 30-50%, ensuring perfumes are kept dry and free from oxidation.
Implement low noise, low vibration fans or cooling systems to ensure a quiet environment suitable for bedroom placement.
Smart Integration:
Design the system to be app-compatible, allowing users to monitor temperature, humidity, and lighting in real-time.
Include smart features like perfume usage tracking, condition monitoring, and smart recommendations to extend perfume longevity.
Offer a fragrance enthusiast forum and opportunities to engage users with incentives for product usage (e.g., prizes for filling up a certain number of bottles).
Design Considerations:
Must fit modern, sleek black and white bathrooms or bedrooms while maintaining minimalistic aesthetics.
Options for custom prints on glass for commercial settings.
Tinted and non-tinted glass options for various lighting preferences.
