PROJECT BRIEF – ARCHITECTURE PORTFOLIO COMPLETION (ADS3 UNIVERSITY PROJECT)

Deadline: December 8th, 3:00 AM (UAE time)
Required software: Rhino 7/8, V-Ray, Photoshop, Illustrator/InDesign (or equivalent)

1. WHAT I ALREADY HAVE

I will provide all existing project files so you can continue and improve the work instead of starting from zero:

My Rhino 3D model (partially done)

My existing portfolio PDF (plans + early diagrams + rough renders)

My site PDF & base maps

All reference sketches, notes, and images

Concept references for the shading, circulation, and layout

What I need is for you to fix, clean, complete, and professionally prepare everything for final presentation.

2. WHAT I NEED YOU TO DO (SUMMARY)

This is a completion + professional refinement project, not a redesign.

You will:

Fix & complete the Rhino model

Produce clean architectural drawings (plans, sections, elevations)

Create professional site analysis (exploded layered diagrams + SWOT)

Create circulation diagrams from the updated model

Update and finalize the entire portfolio (A2 format)

Create one final presentation poster (A0 or A1 – I will confirm)

Export all files cleanly and deliver source files

3. DETAILED SCOPE OF WORK
A. Rhino Model — Fix + Complete (not a redesign)

Please use my current Rhino file as the base and correct/improve:

Add proper wall thicknesses, floors, roofs

Clean up geometry

Place windows, doors, openings correctly

Layout the interior with basic furniture placement

Fix the entrances according to my instructions

Complete the shading element between the public building and the cyclist building

One part is done; you must continue it across the rest of the span

The shading is essential because the public must pass through the shaded area to reach the cyclist building

B. Architectural Drawings (following university requirements)

Export clean, professional drawings from Rhino:

Plans (Scale 1:100)

Ground floor plan

First floor plan

Master plan (ground floor + site)

Sections (2x, Scale 1:100)

Preferably cutting through:

Key spaces

Shading structure

Public-to-cyclist spatial relationship

Elevations (2x, Scale 1:200)

Clean line weights

Basic material indication

All drawings must include:

Line weight hierarchy

Hatches

Dimensions

Labels, titles, north arrow, scale bar

(These are required according to the ADS3 brief.)

C. Site Analysis – Exploded Diagram + SWOT

I need the site analysis to be clear, visual, and layered.

Exploded site diagram should include:

Base site outline

Existing surrounding buildings

Roads + car circulation

Pedestrian paths

Cyclist paths

Public amenities

Retail and service areas

Entry and access points

Movement arrows

View corridors (optional)

Each layer should sit above the other, slightly exploded, so the viewer sees the complete analysis.

Also required:

SWOT Analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats)

D. Circulation Diagrams

Using the updated Rhino model, create:

Public circulation

Cyclist circulation

Vehicle/service access (if needed)

Use simple arrows and colour coding.

E. Portfolio Completion (A2 PDF)

You will take my current portfolio and professionally rebuild/fix it:

Replace old drawings with new clean ones

Add the improved site analysis

Add the circulation diagrams

Add diagrams explaining concept + form

Organize the portfolio in a clean, modern layout

Improve typography, spacing, composition

Use Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign (your choice)

This is NOT a redesign of the project — it is a professional cleanup, correction, and completion using the final content.

F. Final Presentation Poster (A0 or A1)

I will confirm the size.

Poster must include:

Main plan

1 section

Site/circulation diagrams

Main perspectives (I will confirm which ones)

Project title + student info

Clean, professional composition

4. FILE DELIVERY FORMAT
You must deliver:

Final Rhino (.3dm) model

DWG exports (plans, sections, elevations)

PDF portfolio (A2, print-ready)

PDF final poster (A0 or A1)

Site analysis files (PNG + PDF + source files)

Circulation diagrams (PNG + PDF + source)

All Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator source files

High-resolution images if needed

5. HOW I WILL PROVIDE FILES

After accepting the bid, I will send:

A Google Drive folder containing:

Rhino file

Current portfolio

Site plan PDFs

Reference images & sketches

Notes on entrances & shading

Any additional references you request

6. DEADLINE

Absolute final deadline:
December 8th, 3:00 AM UAE Time

The project must be fully completed before this time.
Additional Note

I am a second-year architecture student, so the professor does not expect extremely high-level, professional, real-world construction detail.
The work needs to be:

Clean

Clear

Well-organized

Architecturally logical

Presentable at a university level

Not overly complex or engineered.

The goal is a polished academic project, not a fully detailed professional architectural package. So the level of detail should match Year 2 architecture standards: correct drawings, clean diagrams, good layout, and understandable representation — not advanced construction documentation.
