Alter Existing House Plan PDF
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I already have a complete PDF of my current house plans, and I now need a permit-ready revision. The scope is focused on two areas:
• Changes to existing rooms, specifically the garage
• Modifying exterior features where those garage adjustments affect the façade
For the garage, the key request is to relocate the garage door for better driveway alignment. That means redrawing the garage layout, updating elevations, and adjusting any structural notes or dimensions that shift because of the new door position.
What I’ll hand over:
– The original PDF set (floor plans, elevations, and structural notes).
– A sketch showing the desired door location plus a few exterior aesthetic tweaks.
What I need back:
1. Updated digital drawings in DWG (AutoCAD) or comparable CAD format plus a clean PDF set.
2. All title blocks and scales preserved so the package drops straight into my local permit application.
3. Revisions to any affected sections, elevations, and schedules to reflect the new garage opening.
4. A brief change log so the building department can trace alterations quickly.
If you have experience adapting existing residential plans for permitting and can deliver clear, code-compliant drawings, I’m ready to move forward.
