Advanced Grasshopper Scripting for Road Data -- 2
Budget: €500 – €1,200 EUR
I need an experienced Rhinoceros Grasshopper script writer to align informative curves of a road's longitudinal section (cleaned and simplified DWG) with its real-world centerline reference (DWG).
I provided input files (Data, road centerline (from longitudial seciton) and road centerline xyz (real world coordinates) + gh script of as far I got the process, but were not able to fix the issues (xy doesn't match the real world centerline and z gets morphed incorrectly)
(See Project_explainer.jpg)
- The end result can stay at 0 coordinate system, so no need worry about coordinate systems
- input file: real world coordinate road centerline can be moved to something specific coordinate system if you prefer that
- Layer names of each individual curve should survive
- Accuracy of morph should be within 10mm
- If possible, data cleanup checks would be good (some incorrect data may be inside dwg's). To make this tool more fool proof
Requirements:
- Morph longitudinal section curves to match real-world road centerline coordinates (xy).
- Z-coordinates are already correct.
- Input format: DWG
- Output should be compatible with Rhino 8
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in Rhinoceros 8 and Grasshopper
- Experience with road design and data manipulation
- Strong understanding of coordinate systems and morphing techniques
- Attention to detail and accuracy
