Project Description: ATFD Design & Manufacturing Development (Pilot to Commercial Scale)
We are looking for an experienced Freelance Mechanical / Process Design Engineer to support the complete development of an Agitated Thin Film Dryer (ATFD) from pilot scale to commercial production scale.
The scope includes:
Mechanical design of ATFD (Rotor, Blades, Shaft, Housing, Jacketed Shell)
Heat transfer & drying calculations
Scale-up methodology (Pilot → Commercial)
Drive & RPM selection (Motor, Gearbox, Torque calculation)
Vacuum & vapor body design
Preparation of GA drawings, fabrication drawings & BOM
Manufacturing guidance & performance optimization
⚠️ Mandatory Requirement:
Candidate must have minimum 5 years of direct hands-on experience in ATFD design and manufacturing.
Applications without specific ATFD experience will not be considered.

Complete design package
Calculation sheets
Manufacturing guidelines
Support during prototype build & trials
This is a project-based engagement with potential long-term collaboration.
