Sketches to Construction-Ready CAD Drawings
Budget: $14 – $30 NZD
I already have hand-sketched architectural layouts and need them translated into precise, construction-ready AutoCAD files. Your task is to take each sketch, verify key dimensions with me, and build a clean DWG set that a contractor can use straight away.
I expect proper layering, dimensioning, wall types, door and window schedules, and any call-outs required for permits. Where something in the sketch is unclear, flag it early so we can resolve it before you move on—accuracy is more important than speed.
Deliverables:
• Complete DWG files for each floor and elevation
• Matching PDFs plotted to scale on standard sheets
• A brief change log noting any clarifications made
I use AutoCAD 2023, so please keep the files compatible. Once the first floor is approved, the remaining sheets can follow the same conventions. Let me know your turnaround time for the initial draft and your preferred review process.
