Renovation Floorplan & 3D Drafts
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I already hold the original architectural drawings for my house, however the layout has changed significantly—walls have come down and the living room, kitchen, bathrooms and all bedrooms are being re-configured. I now need those revisions translated into a clean, up-to-date set of drawings that I can hand to builders and suppliers without confusion.
Scope of work
• Redraw the full floor plan in its new configuration, reflecting the structural changes and updated room set-outs.
• Generate key elevations so I can confirm window, door and cabinetry positions.
• Produce a handful of 3D views that show a basic furniture layout. These do not have to be photorealistic; a simple shaded model is fine, as long as it captures the traditional character we’re keeping throughout the home.
What I’ll provide
– PDF (and, if needed, DWG) copies of the original plans.
– Rough sketches/notes indicating demolished walls, new walls and fixture locations.
– Reference photos and mood images that convey the traditional style I’m after.
Preferred output
PDF sheets for easy printing plus the editable source files (DWG, SketchUp, Revit or similar—whatever you work in) so I can make minor tweaks later if required.
I’m keen to start straight away and would like the first draft floor plan within a few days so we can lock in wall positions, then move on to the elevations and 3D views. If this sounds like a straightforward package to you, let’s discuss timing and any questions you might have.
