Council-Ready Carport Engineering Drawing
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I have a skillion-roof carport to document for council approval. The footprint is 6100 mm × 3600 mm and the roof pitch runs 11 degrees along the 6.1 m length. All primary members are 100 mm C-purlins, so I need the drawing to call up the correct steel grade, show every connection, and specify concrete footings that satisfy local code.
Please prepare a full structural set—plan, elevations, sections, and connection details—clearly showing member sizes, purlin spacing, footing depth/diameter, and anchorage. Highlight:
• Grade of steel for each C-purlin
• Concrete strength class and footing reinforcement
• Bolt, bracket, or weld details for every joint and fixing
The final package should be council-ready: a clean PDF for submission plus an editable CAD file (DWG or similar). If you can add your engineer’s certification or a cover sheet summarising relevant standards, that will speed up approval.
