Commercial Iron Cut Sheet Detailing
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
This commercial building is already modeled; now it needs fabrication-ready documentation. I require precise cut sheets for every beam and column, prepared to industry-standard specifications such as AISC and AWS.
The finished package must let the fabricator pick steel straight off the drawings without extra clarification. Provide:
• A separate cut sheet for each member, showing size, length, holes, copes, weld symbols, piece mark and quantity, issued in PDF and native DWG/DXF.
• A condensed material take-off summarising weights and lengths.
• Clear revision blocks so later updates stay simple.
All dimensions stay in imperial, and files must open cleanly in AutoCAD and, ideally, Tekla or a compatible viewer for cross-checking.
Accuracy to the sixteenth of an inch, neat layering, and consistent line weights are the go/no-go criteria when I review. I will share the structural plans and steel schedule at kickoff; your cut sheets should align perfectly with those references.
