Commercial Alteration MEP Drawings
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I’m altering a commercial space in Chesapeake, VA and need a set of permit-ready MEP drawings. My immediate priority is the complete electrical layout—lighting installations, power-outlet relocations and additions, plus several circuit upgrades—but the package must ultimately cover plumbing and mechanical changes as well.
You’ll start by developing a clean electrical plan from scratch because I don’t have any existing drawings. Once that is locked down, we can move on to the revised plumbing risers and mechanical system modifications. Every sheet must satisfy local Chesapeake code requirements as well as NEC, IPC, and IMC standards so the submission clears plan review without revisions.
Deliverables
• Electrical layout drawings: lighting, receptacles, panel schedules, load calcs
• Plumbing drawings: updated fixture locations, risers, isometrics
• Mechanical drawings: ductwork or equipment alterations with schedules
• Code compliance notes and legends for each discipline
• Final PDF set and original CAD (AutoCAD or Revit)
