CAD Grid Overlay & Conversion
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I will send you a vector PDF of an engineering drawing that currently has no editable file attached. Please bring the sheet into AutoCAD, confirm it is at true scale, and lay a 1-square-yard (36" × 36") grid over the entire drawing. Put the grid on its own layer named GRID_1YD so I can toggle it on and off later; everything else in the file should remain exactly as it appears now—line weights, colours and layer names unchanged.
Once the overlay is in place, export two items:
• The clean, editable DWG created in AutoCAD, including the new grid layer.
• A print-ready PDF at the original page size with the grid visible and each square measuring precisely 36" × 36" when printed at 100 % scale (tolerance ±0.01").
The project’s primary use is engineering design, so dimensional accuracy is critical; I will verify by measuring several grid squares in both DWG and PDF. Let me know if you need any clarifications before you start.
