AutoCAD Go-Kart Frame Drafting
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m starting this go-kart project from a blank page and need an AutoCAD specialist to turn our ideas into a build-ready drawing package. The focus is the structural backbone: frame, chassis, suspension, and steering. No sketches or dimensions exist yet, so we’ll begin with a quick call where I’ll outline target wheelbase, track width, tubing size, and steering geometry. From there, you’ll create an organised DWG that a fabricator can follow without guessing.
Key points we’ll cover together
• Overall layout, driver position, and ground clearance
• Tubing profiles and joint intersections for the frame and chassis
• Mounting points for column, spindles, pedals, and tie-rods
• Space allocation for a small engine so future drivetrain work drops in smoothly
Deliverables
• Master AutoCAD (.dwg) file with layers clearly named
• Dimensioned PDF print set ready for shop use
• Brief assumption/notes sheet so anyone can understand design intent
Accuracy and clarity are essential; the drawing must stand on its own in the workshop. If this sounds like a fun challenge, let’s get it rolling.
