Wrist Scorekeeper Production Quote
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I am looking to hire a freelancer who can design and come up with the CAD files for my requirement of a wrist-mounted manual scorekeeper—think “tennis point tracker” on a strap—fully modelled in preliminary CAD.
I need a partner who can quote and fine-tune the design for manufacture.
The finished product must offer a smooth yet positive rotational feel with clear detent indexing. A smooth, matte surface is essential, so material choice and tool finish matter. At this stage I’m comparing ABS, PC-ABS and POM; I’d value your recommendation based on texture durability, mould flow and cosmetic quality.
Beyond the numbers, I’m also looking for light manufacturing optimisation on the existing CAD/STEP—gate placement, draft, shut-offs, tolerance tweaks—nothing that changes the overall form or function, just what’s needed for confident tooling.

We are looking to manufacture a manual mechanical wrist-mounted scorekeeper similar to existing market products, using rotating indexed discs.
Key Requirements:
- Size: 38x38x12mm - 4 rotating discs (points + games) - Manual gear edge rotation - Detent indexing (5 positions for points) - ABS housing, POM discs preferred - Silicone strap
Manufacturing Process:
- Injection moulding (housing + discs) - Silicone moulding (strap) - Pad printing for numbers
Quantity Request:
Please quote for: 100 / 1,000 / 5,000 / 10,000 units
Tooling:
Provide tooling cost breakdown and lead time
Quality Requirements:
- Smooth rotation (no sticking) - Consistent detent click - No visible defects
Deliverables Requested:
Design and CAD Files
Please include the following in your response:
• Material recommendation with a short rationale for the matte, smooth finish requirement
• Notes on any design improvements you’d suggest to streamline manufacturing or improve the detent action
• Confirmation that you can provide final, production-ready CAD/STEP once the tweaks are agreed
