Wooden Stencils for Rounded Zome

Job ID: 40174130

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I make stained-glass lamps using a Zome patter. I would like to alter this pattern so that the lamp has a rounded base rather than a point on end. I would like to have wooden stencils made that would fit my existing jig system. I will share my current jig system with you.

Here is what I need: a revised jig to build a rounded Zome form.
measurements, calculated so the finished assembly works with my current jig and the firm closes into a perfect circle. Precision matters—every facet must meet its neighbour without gaps once the glass is cut against these guides.

Deliverables
• Production-ready drawings or vector files (DXF, PDF, or AI) formatted for ¼-inch wood
• A keyed diagram showing how each stencil lines up in the jig and in final assembly
• Notes on any kerf or tolerance you have factored in

I will do the cutting in-house; your role is the dimensional design. Familiarity with geometric or parametric CAD—especially if you have tackled Zome or other geodesic forms—will help. First draft within a week would be ideal, with one revision round before sign-off.
