# Wearable LED Safety Armband Concept Design
I am developing a synchronized LED safety lighting system for walking, running, and bicycling. Multiple wearable armbands and bicycle lights blink in synchronization using wireless communication between ESP32 devices.
I am looking for industrial designers, wearable product designers, CAD designers, or product visualization specialists to propose concepts for the wearable armband portion of the system.
## Project Goals
The armband should:
* Look modern, athletic, and professional
* Be comfortable for walking/running/cycling
* Provide high nighttime visibility
* Support synchronized LED lighting around the visible perimeter
* Be more rigid and structured than standard phone armbands
* Be practical for prototyping and future manufacturing
## Current Hardware
* Custom ESP32-based electronics
* Rechargeable LiPo battery
* WS2812/SK6812 LED lighting
* Silicone LED diffuser
## Key Dimensions
* Electronics module: approximately 58 × 42 × 13 mm
* Battery: approximately 49 × 34 × 6 mm
* LED diffuser: 13 mm wide × 5.1 mm tall
## Design Ideas / Direction
Possible approaches may include:
* Semi-rigid athletic armband
* Flexible band with rigid electronics/light spine
* TPU/silicone hybrid structure
* Recessed LED diffuser channel
* Modern sports/safety wearable styling
I am open to creative ideas and alternative approaches.
