Universal Lamp Switch Loop
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I want a small, hard plastic loop that clips snugly onto the toggle-style on/off switches found on most table and floor lamps. The loop needs to look tidy as well as make the switch easier to grasp, so both aesthetics and day-to-day functionality matter.
Please base the design on black ABS plastic; it must be durable enough for frequent use but still slim and unobtrusive. I expect a file I can hand straight to a 3-D printer or an injection-moulding shop (STEP or STL preferred) plus a brief note on recommended wall thickness and tolerances so the part will flex just enough to snap over the standard switch barrel without cracking.
If you have ideas for subtle texturing or edge rounding that will keep fingerprints down and match common lamp finishes, feel free to include them. Once the model is delivered I’ll print a test piece and verify the fit on several fixtures; if any tweaks are needed, a quick revision round will wrap the job.
