TyFlow Character Cloth Simulation
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I’m preparing an animation and need a polished TyFlow cloth setup inside 3ds Max that makes the garments on my character move convincingly from start to finish of the scene. You don’t have to build the character model itself—I’ll supply the rigged mesh, final camera move and any reference takes—but I do need you to create, tweak and cache the cloth system so it plays back smoothly in the timeline and renders without intersection or tearing.
Here’s what matters to me: the drape must feel believable when the character walks, turns and sits; collisions with the body and any nearby props have to be reliable on repeat playbacks; and the resulting simulation should be light enough that I can still preview it in the viewport at a reduced resolution before I commit to high-res caching. Once approved, please hand over the .max scene with all TyFlow operators intact alongside an Alembic or point-cached version so I can render on the farm immediately.
If you’re comfortable matching cloth behaviour to animated characters and you know your way around TyFlow’s cloth bind, shell and collision operators, this will be straightforward. Let me know roughly how many iterations you expect to reach a clean solve and include a quick reel or test that shows you’ve handled clothing on animated figures before.
