Two Advanced Generative Design with Dynamo
Budget: £50 – £200 GBP
I have to do two different and separate dynamos (that do different things) each one has to do thw following:
Generative design is the process of constructing the design of some element of a
construction project. This can range in scale from small scale items such (i.e. structural
members), to entire buildings.
In this part of the coursework, you should develop, using Dynamo, a generative design
workflow that will create a Revit family for use in a design:
Your workflow must:
• Create programmatically some element of a construction project. The scale of
the element you create (i.e. structural member, room, entire building) is up to
you. However, the more complex the better.
• It should be programmatic; this means that your workflow must allow the
specification of the element via one or more input variables.
• The element should be useable in Revit.
• You should show evidence of it working in the generative design functionality of
Revit.
You should attempt to utilise a new skill in Dynamo beyond what has been taught. This
should involve you using a new piece of functionality not simply varying what you have
been taught already
