Traditional Round Concrete Fire Pit Design
Budget: $25 – $50 CAD
I'm looking for a skilled industrial designer to create a metal smokeless fire pit insert to fit into our line of existing concrete fire bowls. We presently have gas fire pits ( solusdecor.com) - we would use the same vessel but create a metal liner that would nest inside of our 36 " hemi fire bowl. The metal insert would require venting for air flow and the insert would need some distance and perhaps an insulating barrier that would shield the vessel from extreme heat. Wood firepits generate a lot of uncontrolled heat unlike gas burners.
Key Requirements:
Trying to create a modern day good looking fire pit that burns wood- there is a strong demand for wood burning firepits that are aesthetically pleasing. I have vessels to experiment with but I need a working prototype

- Experience in industrial design, especially with outdoor products
- Proficiency in working with metals and insulating materials
