Traditional Japanese Restaurant Design
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I'm looking for a skilled designer with a deep understanding and appreciation of traditional Japanese aesthetics and functionality to help design a Japanese restaurant.
Key Areas of Focus:
- The dining area: This should reflect a traditional Japanese style, with elements such as shoji screens, wooden beams, and subtle, natural colour palettes.
- Kitchen layout: The kitchen needs to be practical and efficient, yet in keeping with the overall theme of the restaurant.
Seating Arrangements:
- The dining area will predominantly feature Tatami mats. Therefore, the design will need to incorporate low tables and create spaces for the mats in a harmonious way.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Expertise in restaurant design and layout, particularly for Japanese cuisine
- Strong understanding of traditional Japanese design elements
- Experience with designing practical, efficient kitchen layouts
- Ability to create comfortable, inviting seating arrangements using tatami mats.
Please provide a portfolio of similar projects you have completed.
