We are seeking a talented and experienced tool designer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of innovative farrier tools. As a tool designer specializing in farriery, you will play a crucial role in creating tools that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of horse hoof care.

Responsibilities:

Conduct research and analysis to understand the needs, challenges, and requirements of farriers in their daily tasks of horse hoof care and shoeing.

Generate creative concepts and ideas for new farrier tools or improvements to existing tools, considering factors such as ergonomics, functionality, durability, and safety.

Develop detailed designs, including sketches, technical drawings, and 3D models using CAD software, that effectively translate the conceptual ideas into practical tools.

Collaborate with farriers, veterinarians, and other stakeholders to gather feedback on tool prototypes and iterate designs based on their insights and practical observations.

Conduct thorough testing and evaluation of tool prototypes to assess their performance, durability, and usability in real-world farriery scenarios.

Work closely with manufacturers to provide detailed specifications, drawings, and instructions for tool production, ensuring design integrity and manufacturability.

Stay updated with industry trends, advancements in materials, and emerging technologies relevant to farrier tool design, and integrate these insights into the design process.
