Tabletop Plastic Prototype Fabrication

Job ID: 39711394

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I am ready to turn my concept for a new physical product into a working, medium-sized prototype that fits comfortably on a tabletop. The core material must be plastic—SLA or FDM-printed ABS/PLA, or another plastic you recommend that balances strength and finish. If a small amount of metal or wood would improve rigidity or ease assembly I’m open to the suggestion, but the primary build should remain plastic.

You’ll receive my hand-drawn sketches, reference photos, and target dimensions as soon as we start. From there I need you to:

• Create fully editable CAD files (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or comparable)
• Share photo-realistic renderings so I can review form and color
• Fabricate one complete prototype, including a hinged lid and sliding tray that move smoothly without play
• Ship the finished unit to me and provide a brief build log detailing material specs, print settings, and post-processing steps

Acceptance is based on: the delivered unit matching the final CAD dimensions, hinge and slider operating cleanly, and overall finish suitable for user-testing photos.

Please aim to deliver the first CAD draft within a week of kickoff and the finished prototype within four weeks after design approval. I’m excited to see this idea come to life.
