Surreal Dripping High Tea Stands
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I’m opening a themed, modern, eclectic tea parlour and want the centrepieces to feel as if Alice (in Wonderland) wandered straight into a Salvador Dali painting. I need around twenty three-tiered high-tea stands that appear to be melting or dripping down the sides—eye-catching yet still practical for everyday service.
Here’s what I’m after:
• Design & fabrication of approximately 20 stands, each in a different colour palette that complements a whimsical, vintage interior.
• Food-safe PLA plastic is my preferred medium; it must be certified as such and robust enough for regular hand-washing.
• The final pieces should be light yet sturdy, stable on small café tables, and easy to disassemble or stack for storage.
• A smooth, glossy finish is essential to enhance the surreal drips and keep cleaning simple.
Process wise, I’d like to review a concept sketch or 3D render first, approve a single prototype, then move into full production. Delivery of the finished stands to my location is the final milestone.
If you’re experienced with 3D design, artistic fabrication or small-batch manufacturing—and you love blending fantasy with function—let’s chat about timelines and the best way to bring these melting wonderland stands to life.
