Substation 3D Layout Modeling
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I’m building a detailed 3D representation of a power-plant substation and need an AutoCAD Map 3D specialist who is equally comfortable inside P4A. The job centres on true 3D modelling—no map generation or data integration—so every effort goes toward an accurate physical layout of the yard: breakers, transformers, bus bars, cable trenches, structures, and all ancillary equipment.
Here is the workflow I have in mind:
• Start from my existing topographic base and 2D layout.
• Model each major piece of equipment in AutoCAD Map 3D/P4A, equipment piece should be ready to assemble the system, if not will need to create.
• Assemble the full substation yard so clash detection and routing studies can follow.
Deliverables
• One consolidated DWG (and any external reference files) containing the complete 3D substation layout, ready for review in Map 3D.
