Sports Smartwatch Enclosure 3D Design
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I’m developing a rectangular, sports-style smartwatch and need a production-ready enclosure that balances sleek aesthetics with real-world manufacturability. The housing will be injection-moulded plastic, finished in a high-gloss surface, so the model must respect typical wall thicknesses, draft angles and split-line placement for plastic tooling.
Inside, leave clearances for my existing PCB, a long-life Li-ion cell and an integrated Wi-Fi antenna. I also need a slide-out tray that lets the whole electronics stack be removed without disturbing the screen, plus robust lugs that accept standard 22 mm spring-bar watch bands for easy swapping.
The exterior should stay comfortably within “sports watch” proportions while giving at least 11 mm internal height. I’ll share exact board outlines, connector locations and battery dimensions after an NDA.
Deliverables
– Native CAD file (SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or similar) as well as STEP/IGES and STL for printing
– Exploded and assembled views that show the slide-out mechanism in context
– 2-D drawing pack with critical dimensions and tolerances suitable for an injection-moulding quote
Because rapid prototyping and occasional on-site reviews are planned, I can only engage UK-based designers.
