Sports Footwear Design Needed

I’m developing a new line of performance-focused footwear and need an experienced shoe designer to turn early ideas into production-ready concepts. The brief is centred on sports shoes rather than casual or formal models, so a solid understanding of athletic biomechanics, lightweight material selection, and current manufacturing techniques will be essential.

Here’s what I’m after:
• Concept sketches that communicate overall silhouette, key functional features, and branding placements
• Detailed tech packs with accurate specs, last references, material call-outs, and colourways that a factory can follow without re-work
• Suggestions for appropriate midsoles, outsoles, and upper constructions in line with durability and weight targets
• 3D renders or mock-ups (Rhino, Alias, or similar) so stakeholders can review the design from every angle

Please base your proposal on past projects where you’ve successfully taken a sports shoe from concept through to sampling. I’m especially interested in seeing evidence of collaboration with developers or factories and how your design choices improved fit, performance, or aesthetics.

Once we align on a direction, I’ll supply brand guidelines, performance targets, and market positioning so you can refine the design and prepare files for the manufacturer.
