SolidWorks Steel Tube Model
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a precise 3D model of a straight steel tube built natively in SolidWorks. The tube should go beyond a simple hollow cylinder and include all the detailed structural features I’ll specify—wall thickness, end-cuts, through-holes, and any reinforcement details called out on my drawing.
Scope
• Create a fully parametric SolidWorks part (.sldprt) of one straight tube.
• Add the detailed structural features exactly as shown on the dimensional sketch I will provide.
• Supply a clean feature tree so I can adjust key dimensions later.
• Export a neutral STEP file alongside the native file for sharing with vendors.
Acceptance
• Model opens without errors in SolidWorks 2020 or later.
• All critical dimensions match the drawing within ±0.1 mm.
• Feature names are intuitive (e.g., “End Cut-A,” “M12 Hole Array”).
If you regularly work with steel fabrications in SolidWorks and can turn around a tidy, editable file quickly, I’d love to work with you on this straightforward project.
