SolidWorks Robot Arm Design

Job ID: 39818480

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I’d like a complete SolidWorks model of a robotic arm dedicated to material-handling jobs with lightweight items such as plastic or paper. The arm must reliably pick and place, sort, and package these pieces on an automated line.

I’ll supply basic layout constraints and the envelope in which the arm must operate; you handle the full CAD development, joint sizing, and motion sequencing. If you can run a quick motion study in SolidWorks to verify reach, collision clearance, and cycle time, even better—I want to see that it can keep pace with a small conveyor.

Deliverables
• Native SolidWorks files for every part and the full assembly
• A configured motion study (pick-place, sort, and package cycles)
• Detail drawings with key dimensions, tolerances, and any off-the-shelf components called out
• Simple bill of materials

Acceptance criteria
The model must open without errors in SolidWorks 2021+, complete each programmed action smoothly in the motion study, and fit within the space envelope I provide. Once I confirm those points, the project is done.
