SolidWorks Part from Scan
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have a clear, high-resolution scan of a small mechanical part and I need it recreated as a SolidWorks model. The geometry is straightforward—mostly basic shapes with only a few features—so this should be a quick task for anyone comfortable with SolidWorks’ sketch, extrude, fillet, and hole tools.
What I will provide
• The scanned drawing
What I expect back
• A native SolidWorks (.SLDPRT) file built parametrically so I can adjust key dimensions later.
• One neutral file (STEP or IGES) for compatibility.
• A brief note listing any assumptions you had to make.
Accuracy to the supplied dimensions is the priority; no simulation or manufacturing prep is required at this stage.
