SolidWorks Luggage Carriage Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a hand-drawn sketch with full dimensions for a small carriage that is integrated onto a fabric piece of luggage I need you to turn this concept into a clean SolidWorks model that reflects the exact measurements, rounded edges, and attachment points in the drawing. There is a wheel well housing that needs to be completely enclosed. I will need a wheel that will eventually be made with a rubber tread. You can draw this for 3-D printing for prototype purposes also bosses for mounting the axle. The spokes for the wheel would run the length of the wheel with a spiral spokes for the drawing
Once the 3-D model is approved, I’ll need an export to an error-free STL file ready for FDM printing in ABS. Please keep wall thicknesses, overhang angles, and tolerances in mind so the part prints reliably without excessive support and snaps firmly in place on standard suitcase tubing.
Deliverables
• Native SolidWorks file (.sldprt / .sldasm if needed)
• Final print-ready STL after my sign-off
• Short note on recommended printer settings for ABS (layer height, infill, temps)
I’ll share the sketch and dimensions as soon as we start so you can give me an initial model for review.
