SolidWorks Gearbox Assembly Design
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
I’m putting together a complete Gearbox Housing Assembly Machine in SolidWorks and need a designer who can take my hand-drawn sketches and turn them into a fully engineered, production-ready 3D model.
Scope
• Build every component—housing, shafts, bearings, seals, fasteners, mounting fixtures, and any ancillary brackets—directly in SolidWorks.
• Model to a highly detailed, fully manufacturable level, including all necessary fits, tolerances, and realistic clearances.
• Apply ASME standards throughout the part modeling, assemblies, and drafting process so the files can slide straight into our existing documentation pipeline.
• Constrain and mate the assembly so that motion studies and interference checks run error-free.
Deliverables
1. Native SolidWorks files:
• .SLDPRT for every unique part
• .SLDASM for the top-level and any sub-assemblies
2. Fully dimensioned and toleranced PDF drawings for each part and assembly.
3. A brief BOM exported from SolidWorks tying part numbers to the drawing set.
Acceptance Criteria
• No suppressed or unresolved mates or references on open.
• Interference check returns zero hard clashes.
• Drawings meet ASME Y14.5 for GD&T.
• Final files open in SolidWorks 2020 or newer without errors.
If you’ve done gearbox or similar power-transmission assemblies before and are comfortable working to this degree of detail, I’d love to see examples.
