SolidWorks Beveled Edge Die
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m looking for a SolidWorks specialist to build a simple 3D model of a beveled-edge die set that will ultimately be machined in steel. The finish only needs to reflect a basic, rough surface—no polished detailing or advanced texturing.
I have a 2D dxf file with all the dimensions to make this easy.
Scope
• Model a single die with clean, parametric features so key dimensions and bevel angles can be tweaked later.
• Keep geometry accurate enough for steel fabrication, but skip simulation, draft analysis, or cosmetic polish.
• Produce a quick dimensioned PDF drawing for my review before hand-off.
Deliverables
1. Native SolidWorks part file (.sldprt).
2. STEP/IGES export for the machinist.
3. One-page PDF with major dimensions.
Once we start, I’ll share exact overall size, corner radius, and bevel depth. A straightforward, well-structured file is all I need, so if you’re comfortable designing steel tooling with a rough finish standard, let’s get started.
