Sofa Technical Drawing Set Needed
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
As makers of bespoke sofas, I would like a set of clear, production-ready technical drawings for our custom-built sofas. The idea being is to create a document that both our clients and our upholstery team can read at a glance.
Scope
Ideally, each sofa model needs three orthographic views—top, side and front either on the same or on a single sheet. Every view must be dimensioned precisely so a carpenter can cut frames without guessing, yet still look clean enough to share with clients during approvals.
Content to show
• Accurate overall measurements and critical internal dimensions (seat height, arm thickness, back angle, etc.).
Step-by-step assembly notes or fabric information is not required at this stage; the focus is on dimensions and clarity.
Format
A vector-based technical drawing prepared in a mainstream CAD platform (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar) and exported as both the native file and a PDF for client review.
Acceptance criteria
• Top, side and front views on one sheet per model
• All linear dimensions in millimetres, legible at 100 % scale
• Lines and annotation styles consistent across models
• Delivered native CAD file plus print-ready PDF
For the last four years we have used the same person but through a change of profession we are now looking for someone new to work with
