Snowmobile-Themed 3D Mouse Design
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
Project : 3D Design of a Custom Snowmobile-Themed Wireless Mouse (for Bambu Lab Printing)
Description
I am looking for a skilled 3D designer to create a custom computer mouse shell that will be 3D-printed with a Bambu Lab A1 + AMS Lite system. The design must be fully compatible with the Wireless Mouse Components Kit – MH002 from Bambu Lab (link here
), which includes all electronic parts and hardware for a wireless optical mouse (including the USB receiver).
This project is intended for snowmobile enthusiasts, and the mouse design should reflect that theme.
Key Requirements
Compatibility: The 3D design must fit the MH002 kit components. Internal parts and proper assembly must be considered.
Printing with AMS (multi-color): I want to customize colors directly in Bambu Studio, choosing from 4 loaded filaments. Each snowmobile manufacturer is associated with a color, so the design should allow for multi-color printing.
Design style:
Doesn’t need to be overly complex, but must be comfortable, ergonomic, and visually appealing.
The top shell must include a snowmobile design (engraved, embossed, or flush with the surface).
The Motoneiges.ca logo (monochrome) must appear somewhere on the shell.
Materials: Default will be PETG for durability and flexibility, but if you believe PLA is a better choice, please explain why.
Assembly: Multiple printed parts are acceptable. Please provide recommendations for the best configuration to maximize print quality and durability.
Inspiration & References
I have uploaded a few reference files to give you an idea of what I’m looking for.
The “Ski-Doo Aqua” mouse is included only to illustrate colors associated with Ski-Doo. (I like the look of that mouse by the way. If you can make your creation similar to it but with your touch, it would be nice)
Transparent windows for the snowmobile logo are not required (not practical for 3D printing).
Bonus / Preferred Skills
Experience designing computer mouse shells or similar ergonomic products.
If so, ability to share previous mouse or electronics enclosure projects (images appreciated).
Deliverables
Printable STL files (or equivalent) ready for Bambu Studio slicing.
Instructions/recommendations for printing (material settings, assembly, finishing tips).

The goal is to have a fun, functional, and brand-themed wireless mouse design for snowmobile fans.
