Sleek AirPod-Style Casing Design
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
The goal is to create an outer shell for a true-wireless earbud case that instantly communicates quality through its look and feel. I already have the internal electronics layout; what I need from you is a plastic enclosure that is all about aesthetics, following a clean, sleek and modern language similar to Apple’s AirPods case.
Key points I want you to keep in mind:
• Aesthetics come first. Smooth lines, no visible screws, and a seamless lid-to-body transition are essential.
• Injection-mouldable plastic will be the manufacturing method, so wall thickness, draft angles and split lines must be respected.
• Hinges, magnets and the charging port cut-out must remain flush and unobtrusive.
• A small LED window and a subtle logo area should be integrated without breaking the minimalist flow.
Deliverables:
1. Two to three concept directions presented as high-quality renders.
2. One final, production-ready CAD model (STEP or IGES) plus STL for rapid prototyping.
3. A brief DFM note outlining material grade suggestions, surface finish, and any tooling considerations.
SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or Rhino are all fine as long as neutral files are supplied. Once the final model is approved, I’ll handle the electronics integration and testing.
