5 Simple SolidWorks Labs

Job ID: 40558365

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I have five short CAD “labs” that will be used as hands-on exercises in an introductory course. Each lab asks students to model a small 3D object, so I need clean, well-structured SolidWorks files they can open, explore, and modify.

Here is what I’m after:
• Five individual SolidWorks part files (.sldprt) that match the brief sketches and dimensions I’ll supply after we start.
• Each file should be built with an uncluttered, fully constrained feature tree so beginners can follow the design intent.
• A one-page PDF per lab summarising key steps (feature order, reference planes, sketches used) is all the documentation I need—no elaborate reports.

Because this is strictly an educational project, surface finish, tolerances, and manufacturing details aren’t required; clarity and teachability are the priorities. If you prefer to add STEP exports alongside the native files that would be a helpful bonus, though the SolidWorks parts are the main deliverable.

Once the models open smoothly in the current SolidWorks release, show fully defined sketches, rebuild without errors, and match the provided dimensions, I’ll consider the work complete and release payment.
