Residential Extension Drafting & Consultancy
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 AUD
I’m renovating my home and need an architect who can translate my ideas into a practical, council-ready package. This project covers three main zones, existing 3 bedrooms and rumpus room with walk in robe and ensuite, bathroom, laundry and ensuite, and large living with alfresco.
The exisiting house is a north facing 1920s bungalow in Richmond South Australia and I would like to honour this style throughout. I would like consultancy assistance particularly with the front facade (i would like to remove the current sun room and replace with a period relevant porch) and layout optimisation.
Here’s what I’m after:
• A detailed set of drawings and floor plans that reflect new layouts, circulation, and any structural changes.
• Coordinated elevations and sections that highlight materials, lighting concepts, and key joinery details.
• Visual renderings or annotated mood boards to help me finalise finishes and spatial feel.
• Guidance on local building codes and compliance, with any required schedules or notes included so the plans are permit-ready.
• A concise revision round once I review the first full draft.
- a set of options for the front facade for me to choose from.
I’ll supply existing measurements, site photos, and inspiration images. Please outline your preferred software, time required for the project and confirm you can collaborate remotely via annotated PDFs or screen-share sessions.
