3D Product Rendering – Space-Saving Wooden Home Desk
Project Overview
We are seeking an experienced 3D render designer to produce high-quality, realistic 3D renders of a space-saving wooden home desk. The project involves creating two versions of the same product, differentiated only by size (small and large variants).
The desk is designed for compact living environments and features a foldable system that allows it to open into a functional workspace and fold back when not in use to maximize space efficiency.
To ensure accuracy and alignment with the intended design, the selected designer will be provided with a reference image of the product as well as a veneer finish sample.
Scope of Work
Produce two complete 3D render sets, one for each size variant (small and large)
Accurately model and render the desk’s structure, folding mechanism, materials, and proportions
Ensure visual and design consistency across both size variations
Clearly communicate functionality and real-life usage through the renders
Design Requirements
Modern, clean, and minimal aesthetic
Ergonomic and well-balanced proportions to ensure comfort, usability, and visual appeal
Manufacturing-friendly design, suitable for efficient and practical production
Realistic material and finish representation, with particular focus on the wood veneer
Clear visual explanation of how the desk opens, folds, and functions
Reference Materials Provided
Product reference image (for structural and functional clarity)
Veneer finish sample (for accurate material and color representation)
Required Render Shots
For each size version, the following eight (8) render shots are required.
Each shot must be delivered in two formats:
1080 × 1920 px
1080 × 1080 px
Desk with lower desk fully closed and upper drawers closed
Desk with lower desk fully closed and upper drawers opened
Desk with lower desk fully opened and upper drawers closed
Desk with lower desk door opened, desk top closed, desk sides closed, and top drawers closed
Desk with lower desk door opened, desk top opened, desk sides closed, and top drawers closed
Desk with lower desk door opened, desk top opened, one desk side opened, the other side closed, and top drawers closed
Desk with lower desk door opened, desk top opened, both desk sides opened, and top drawers closed
