Rebuild STEP Tray in SolidWorks
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I already have a STEP model of a single-piece package tray; what I need is a fully editable SolidWorks part (.sldprt) that mirrors it feature-for-feature. Use the STEP file strictly as geometry reference, then recreate every boss, cut, fillet, pattern, and datum so the final FeatureManager is clean, logically ordered, and driven by fully defined sketches.
Precise dimensions matter—I will be checking the finished file against the original to be sure all critical lengths, radii, and hole positions match within SolidWorks’ default tolerance. The intent is to end up with a native part that can be modified easily later, so please avoid imported bodies, dumb solids, or “Move/Copy Body” shortcuts. Every sketch should replicate the originals exactly, with proper constraints and dimensions shown.
Deliverables
• Native SolidWorks 2024 or-newer .sldprt file
• Feature tree showing all recreated features and sketches (no suppressed or dangling items)
• Confirmation that the part rebuilds with zero errors or warnings on my system
This is a single-part job—no assembly work required. If you’re comfortable reverse-engineering from STEP and enjoy neat, parametric models, I’d love to review your work.
