Prototype-Ready 3D Product Model

I am preparing a product for its first physical prototype and I need a precise 3D model that a manufacturer can work from without additional tweaking. The core of this job is product-level 3D design: accurate geometry, correct wall thicknesses, and clean, watertight surfaces suitable for export to STEP, IGES, and STL.

Alongside the model itself, I’ll need any reference sketches or notes translated into clear visual material so factory engineers immediately understand assembly and function. If you are comfortable creating quick exploded views or annotated call-outs in your CAD or rendering package, that will keep the hand-off smooth.

I usually coordinate projects in short, well-defined phases, so an organised approach to file management and version control is appreciated. Basic scripting or parametric know-how (Python in Fusion 360, simple macros in SolidWorks, etc.) is a bonus; it lets us adjust dimensions later without rebuilding everything from scratch.

Deliverables
• Production-ready 3D model of the product
• Native CAD file plus neutral formats (STEP/IGES, STL)
• One or two rendered views or call-outs for the factory

Once the model passes a quick in-house print check for fit and tolerance, the project is complete and I release the final milestone. If this goes well, I have follow-up parts in the same product line.
