Prototype Consumer Electronics Design Team
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I have an early bread-boarded version of a new consumer-electronics gadget and I’m pushing hard toward a fully functioning prototype. To do that I’m bringing together specialists whose knowledge goes deeper than mine so every design decision is backed by solid engineering judgment.
At this stage I need:
• 3D Designer versed in CAD modeling and high-quality 3D rendering to turn my rough shapes into accurate, presentation-ready geometry.
• Electrical Engineer to refine the circuit, handle component selection and power-management details.
• PCB Design Engineer to produce a compact, multi-layer layout ready for fabrication, including Gerbers and assembly drawings.
• Mechanical / Design Engineer to solve enclosure, fastening, thermal and assembly challenges.
The device is palm-sized, battery-powered and plastics-heavy, so experience with injection-molded housings, Li-ion packs, BLE or small MCUs is a plus. We’ll collaborate over WhatsApp for quick feedback loops and share files through a common drive.
Compensation will be milestone-based and negotiated privately according to the depth of expertise you bring. When you reply, please point me to relevant work, list the key software you use (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Altium, KiCad, etc.), and give me an idea of your typical turnaround time for revisions. I’m ready to move as soon as I find the right mix of talent.
