3D-Printable Battery Holder Designs
Budget: £10 – £20 GBP
I need precise, ready-to-print battery holders for Makita 18 V, DeWalt 20 V, and Milwaukee M18 packs. Each holder should mount securely either on a wall or under a bench without wobble, so please build in practical screw points or key-slot features with clear‐ance for typical wood-screws. Dimensional accuracy is critical: the cradles must follow the full external geometry of the OEM batteries so they snap in smoothly yet stay locked in place during everyday workshop use.
FDM printing will be the main production method, so design for 0.4 mm nozzles, common layer heights, and allow sensible tolerances that avoid elephant-foot or over-tight clips. Files must be completely watertight and free of non-manifold edges.
If there’s room, I’d like an embossed or recessed version of each brand’s logo on the visible face—feel free to propose tasteful placement.
Deliverables
• Clean STL and STEP for every holder style (wall and bench variants for each brand)
• Native CAD source files (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar)
• Up to a couple of quick revisions to fine-tune fit after my first test prints
I’ll run initial test prints the day I receive your files; acceptance means the batteries slide in with light hand pressure and hang upside-down without slipping. Looking forward to seeing your solid-modeling skills in action.
