I’ll be sending you clear digital sketches in PDF or JPEG format along with the key dimensions. From these I need a clean, fully editable 3D model in AutoCAD that captures an intermediate level of detail—major geometry plus the important intricate features, but nothing unnecessarily over-modelled.
Please structure the file so future changes are straightforward: sensible layer naming, feature groupings that mirror the design intent, and standard mechanical conventions for tolerances and annotation. If any dimensions or design intent seem ambiguous, let me know right away so we minimise back-and-forth.
Deliverables
• Native DWG of the completed 3D part, layers organised and geometry editable
• STEP (or IGES) export for downstream engineering and CNC use
• Brief note listing any assumptions made during the build
