Precise STL-to-STEP Conversion

I have several mechanical part models saved as STL that now need to become fully editable STEP files. Every feature, hole, and surface must carry over with the same dimensions and tolerances the parts were originally designed with—no approximations or smoothing that would alter fit or function.
You will receive the native STL assets and, if useful, PDF drawings that show the critical measurements. Your task is to rebuild or convert each file so the resulting STEP opens cleanly in common CAD platforms (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, etc.) and can be dimension-driven for future edits.
Deliverables
• One high-quality STEP file for each supplied STL, dimensionally identical to the source
• A brief note confirming the CAD system or workflow you used and any assumptions made
