Powder-Coated POS Kiosk Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a compact metal kiosk designed for in-store employee point-of-sale duties. The unit will house a standard touchscreen, card reader, and small receipt printer, so the layout must focus on smooth payment processing with easy cable management.
Scope
• Produce a basic blueprint and 3-D concept (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or comparable CAD) showing overall dimensions, component placement, and a simple access panel for maintenance.
• Specify powder-coated metal thickness, bend radii, and any welded joints so a fabricator can create a first article.
• Include mounting guidance—either free-standing with a weighted base or countertop bolts—whichever you feel suits the footprint best.
• Provide an exploded view or cut list so sheet-metal shops can quote the build.
I’m keeping the initial phase straightforward: clear drawings, material notes, and a short PDF summary are all that’s required right now. If the concept works on site, I’ll consider follow-up work for detailed production files and iterations.
