Photorealistic Thermal Skid Model

Job ID: 40244325

Budget: $30 – $250 AUD

I have a finished .STEP file of a compact thermal-surveillance skid and need it converted into three optimized .GLB files—high, medium and low resolution—so I can drop each version straight into Microsoft PowerPoint and enable full 3D rotation.

Here is what matters to me:
• Texturing must feel real. Think authentic metal finishes, glass optics and subtle surface wear rather than flat colours.
• The default lighting should mimic bright daytime conditions; sun-like key with believable soft shadows so the unit reads clearly from every angle even inside a slide deck.
• I want three baked camera views exported as ready-to-use renders (top-down, isometric and eye-level) along with the interactive .GLB files. These stills will sit beside the 3D asset in the presentation for quick reference.

Deliverables
1. High-res .GLB (presentation-quality, fine detail)
2. Medium-res .GLB (balanced for file size vs. clarity)
3. Low-res .GLB (fast-loading fallback)
4. Three 4K PNG/JPEG renders matching the specified angles
5. Brief note on texture maps, polygon count targets and any compression applied, so I understand the trade-offs across the three versions

Acceptance criteria
• All .GLB files import into PowerPoint 365 without missing textures, with lighting and environment intact.
• File sizes scale logically: high > medium > low.
• Textures appear sharp at 100 % zoom; no visible UV seams.
• Renders match lighting and material look of the interactive model.

You’ll receive the .STEP file immediately after kickoff. If specific texture references or HDRIs help, just let me know and I can supply them.
